Meet the Owner

I grew up in Texas(I'll always be a southern girl at heart 🤠) I now live and have raised 3(grown) kids in Wisconsin. I have worked in Healthcare for over 25 years, and will be celebrating 16 year with the amazing company I now work for. I work in both our assisted living as well as in-home care. And while it's a demanding schedule of 10-12 hour days, weekends and holidays, it's been my passion since I was a kid looking up to my grandmother and aunt. Both in Nursing. 8 years ago I married the love of my life. An Artist himself he has always encouraged my creativity and endure all my crazy antics from home decor to "the jeep life" (which he actually enjoys more frequently than I get to) to Nails. I am thankful he doesnt known the word "No".

I started doing my own nails in November 2022 as a hobby. I started @brightspotnails Instagram in January 2023. And May 9, 2023 I shared my first post using waterslide decals that I had made. For the girl that never did Nails (health care and all..) I was estatic people were liking them. Over the next 3 short weeks I shard more and was stunned by the amount of attention they were getting. I remember the day I told my husband "I think I could sell these". He just looked at me with a knowing grin. (He says he knew it was coming before I did.) The excitement I got from you guys and the support I got from him; made me brave enough to announce I was opening a shop. Those of you that have been with me from the very beginning may remember those early days when I announced a business before even knowing how to start one(talk about putting the cart before the horse ). I have learned a lot in this last year, and have "met" some great nail friends. 1 year later, and i tell ya, some days I still cant believe that I am a business owner. While I'm still a 1 woman show (hubby does help where he can) I strive to make the best quality possible and get them in your hand as quickly as I can. Looking to the further my dream is to be to expand. And with the support of my husband and the amazing customers you all are I believe that is possible 🩷
